Hi ,

I consider these news as good news since the control remains to Borland. Also the fact that CodeGear will dedicate to IDE products is a step forward because the complexity of the product ( BDS ) , I think ,imposes attention and dedication.

Nielsen continued, “We believe by creating two separate operations, Borland and CodeGear can both obtain the necessary focus and dedicated resources to serve two important, but distinct markets. We will continue to partner and share a mutual view of customer success. However, going forward Borland will be completely focused on leading the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) market, while CodeGear will be focused on the software developer.”

This is the result of the maturity in Software Engineering , I believe.

I think is a good choise and I wish good luck.
